SingleTact
SingleTact capacitive force sensor technology delivers superior sensitivity and repeatability than resistive sensors. They provide truly incredible performance, especially considering that they are only 0.3 mm thick.
Interfacing with SingleTact is easy using either the voltage output (analog) or I²C (digital). We provide an open-source Arduino example that demonstrates how to embed the SingleTact miniature force sensor into your system.
OEM Integration
SingleTact sensors are developed by PPS, a specialist capacitive tactile sensing company with over two decades of experience across medical devices, robotics, and consumer electronics.
PPS supports OEM customers through every phase of product development - from initial sensor selection and interface design through to manufacture. Whether you need a standard SingleTact integrated into a new product or a fully custom sensing solution, PPS engineers will work with you to define the right configuration for your application.
Need More Than a Single Sensor?
PPS, the company behind SingleTact, builds full tactile sensing instrumentation systems using the same capacitive technology - scaled for more complex measurement challenges.
These include pressure sensing arrays, tactile gloves, head and body pressure systems, and sensors for spray mapping.
Custom sensing arrays are also available for specialist applications.
Trusted By Customers Worldwide
SingleTact sensors are used by engineers and researchers at organisations worldwide.
